Update on 2025 Fall Recreational Youth Baseball

As of the evening of September 11th, the City of Senatobia was informed via voicemail from Nelson Baker, President of Senatobia Youth Baseball, that the organization will no longer oversee or be responsible for Recreational Youth Baseball in Senatobia, effective September 12th.

Following this notice, the City of Senatobia and Parks Director Jamie Chandler met to assess the situation. We are pleased to confirm that Fall Baseball will proceed as scheduled, with games beginning on Tuesday, September 16th. The Parks Department is actively working to compile coach contact information and will be organizing a meeting with all coaches prior to the start of the season.

Regarding any payments made to the Senatobia Youth Baseball League for the 2025 Fall season, please direct all refund inquiries to Nelson Baker and the Youth Baseball Board. The City of Senatobia and the Parks and Recreation Department have not received any of these funds and will not be collecting any additional fees from families for participation in this fall’s season.

Our top priority remains ensuring that the children of our community have the opportunity to play and enjoy a successful fall baseball season. We appreciate your patience and support as we work through this transition
