The City of Senatobia would like to inform residents that current icy road conditions and winter weather are causing delays in garbage collection services. City officials will continue to closely monitor road conditions and will make a determination on when sanitation services can safely resume.

This decision is being made with the safety of our employees as the top priority, as well as ensuring that sanitation equipment can be operated properly and safely on icy roads.

Residents are encouraged to break down large waste items and consolidate household waste as much as possible to help prevent an overabundance of bags being placed outside of garbage cans. Once services resume, sanitation crews will work diligently to get all routes caught up.

We appreciate the understanding and patience of our citizens as we navigate these weather-related challenges. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
